Manifolds

KESL capabilities include the provision of subsea manifold piping layout designs. Our design interfaces cover the following;

  • Subsea manifolds designed to meet requirements of PD 8010-2, DNVGL-OS-F101, ASME B31.8 Codes;

  • Other subsea specifications satisfied in our designs are DNVGL-RP-F112; DNVGL-RP-F105; DNVGL-RP-F109; DNVGL-RP-D101; API 6A; API 6AF;

  • Incorporation of Manifold valves, flowmeters, hot stabs, pulled bends, guide and anchor supports into layouts;

Design parameters fulfilled in our manifold design as a minimum are:

  • Wall Thickness Verification

  • Hydrostatic collapse

  • Operational / Functional loadings

  • Accidental loadings

  • Environmental loadings

  • Fatigue Analysis

  • Transportation Loadings

  • Equivalent Stress check

  • Slugging

  • Equivalent Densities

  • System Leak Test

  • Stress Intensification Factors

  • Tie-in spools / flexibles loads

  • Seismic Activity

  • External Displacements impact

  • HISC Verification

  • Flange Loading Design check

  • Bulkhead Loading Design check

  • Vortex Induced Vibrations (VIV)
